Supporting high level events across the globe: First EU-Iran Business Forum


While the European Union (EU) deepens relations with foreign nations, ICF Mostra has been requested to provide a range of services for supporting high level events worldwide. Recently, events were organised on behalf of the EU’s Service for Foreign Policy Instruments (FPI) and the Directorate-General for Energy (DG ENER) in Asia and North America.

Working in close collaboration with EU Delegations, ICF Mostra teamed up with IBF International Consulting to organise the First EU Business Forum on Sustainable Energy on 29 April and on Climate Action on 30 April in Iran.

Our team supported DG ENER to prepare the Forum at the Ministry of Energy in Tehran, an event that subscribes within the group of actions aiming at reinforcing EU Iran cooperation on Energy following the signature of the nuclear deal last year. We provided a range of event-related logistics, including digital services such as the registration website for the event on 29 April. We also designed communication materials, such as the programme, badges, nameplates, roll-ups, for the event hosting more than 200 participants.

We had a chance to put our global expertise on the spot. Within a short deadline, our teams liaised with all parties involved to provide a successful range of communication services across different continents, all the while having to deal with different languages and several time zones.

The FPI events provide an opportunity to enhance the dialogue between the EU and foreign nations on pressing issues like climate change, energy and trade.
